1. Always wear you proper uniform and don't forget to wear your ID.
You cannot enter the gate without your ID and not wearing your uniform and I'm pretty sure that I don’t have to explain this.

You can
forget about your paper but never forget the pen. Pen symbolizes how ready a
student is. You must be able to cope with the demand of this curriculum--- this
school. You cannot do such thing if you are not completely ready to win a battle.
These both apply to academics and non-academic activities. Ateneo is a dynamic
school and full of surprises and we as a student of this university should be
always ready for anything.
Ateneo is
not only a starting road to success but also to fitness. Every morning, you
need to conquer and force yourself to climb the stairs in order for you to
attend your classes. There is no excuse to it, stairs symbolizes the road to
success but most of the time stairs are always annoying. But you need to learn
to love it. You gotta.
This is a
must. Stop hating other people before missing the chances of meeting amazing
personalities. If you think being the talk of the town because of your nasty
attitudes and/or being the whistle blower of a certain teenage drama is cool?
Well, you have to fix yourself. Ateneo is a community who includes people. We
condemn any types of exclusion.
Learn how to
speak and at the same time learn when to speak. Ateneans are very outspoken. We
are known because of our voices, we always want to say something and as a
student you are expected to be the voice of the voiceless. So kid, like Cinderella’s
mother once said “Have courage and be kind.”
6. Don’t waste time.

This is very
important. Senior High School is a bridge between Junior High and College, so
expect the best and the worst. School requirements were never this hard;
deadlines were all in the same week and you as an individual should finish
everything for you to pass the subject. Yes it’s difficult, but my advice is
don’t waste a second. Know your priorities, should I keep doing my PTs ‘till
5AM or sleep?
Forget about
the Methodological Individualism, you have two years to collaborate with
different talents. There is no time for isolating yourself. Explore outside the
cave, my child.
If you can do well, make it better and strive for the best. If you are expected to reach a certain level, surpass it.

We are no
longer after the grades because they are just numbers. The important thing is
how could we help other people? Learn to enjoy the ride and earn knowledge from
it.
