HISTORYA: THE STORY OF OUR HISTORY
The Historya Production in partnership with the Department of Education presents Historya: The Story of our History.
On Saturday, February 25, the Ateneo de Naga University community witnessed a spectacular staging of the story of our history at the university gymnasium. The dance and musical production featured the ancient times in preference to epics and folktales until the present time.
Looking back at the origins of people, influences on values, hardships of heroes, bravery of men and glamour of women.
Going over through the 500 years of the Filipino nation. Looking into the Filipino customs, traditions, beliefs and literary arts.
Presented with grand colorful costumes along with exquisite musical scoring, great visual presentations and synchronization of body movements.
The mission of the production team is to reach out to the Filipinos for them to look back to their roots and link the historical past with indications of the rich heritage.
The vision is for the Philippine history to be known in order for history to stay alive as to raise awareness, knowledge and for people to learn how to appreciate.
