Never Underestimate Bloggers and Journalists

Imagine yourself wearing the newest fur collection of gucci coat and a pair of thigh-high Givenchy metallic boots getting an e-mail invitation to your favourite majestic and classic top brands particularly Chanel Fashion Show and indulging the moment you get to sit on front-row right next to Karl Lagerfeld (the head designer and creative director of the fashion house Chanel and as well as the Italian house fendi). Well we do rarely see Filipinos on front row seat but this I tell you, this ideal picture we dreamt of is seized by the filipino blogger / Social media Correspondent Bryan Boy.

I know you are bursting because of jealousness you feel towards Bryan boy, But no wonder where he is now, with all of his talent, and hardships, he made his way at the top of blogoshpere and Fashion Media Industry.
Like any other successful person he started from the bottom. he is the eldest of his 4 siblings and a native resident of Manila specifically Alabang. He attended his collegiate years at Colegio San Agustin. He entered the world of blogging at the age of 22 year 2004, he was one of the pioneers to introduce the world to blogosphere. And later on received good feedback from the gurus of their industry in manila. He also started working on a fashion column for the Philippines Star. He also became a guest judge of Philippine edition of the TV show "Project Runway". that time he is earning a lot but not much he is earning today.

Everything was smoothly rising for him until such time when a gossip blog "chikatime" was rumored all over the country for he was one of the bloggers that made an unbearable impact to the society, given with the so called evidence that implies his writing style is somewhat identical to the blog's which became the turning point of his career's gradual downfall in manila. This pushed him to work abroad and risk himself and his career, with all of his talent and hardships he is making his way at the top, he turned his attention to the outside world and fortunately he is regarded. Few years later he attended different Fashion Show and sitting on front row was everything for him. Marc Jacobs noticed a fan video that Bryan has made, Bryan received an e-mail from Marc Jacobs pledging to name a bag in his honor. Bryan is no stranger to a Valentino, Chanel, Prada, and fend fashion show he has been seated on the front row. His blogs was called "hysterically camps" by the Sydney Morning Herald and often has witty and bitchy commentary. He has been featured in America’s next Top Model season 19 as a judge and a Social media Correspondent. The next few years he is taking his name into whole new level, with his career as a fashion blogger he made his way to the top until he became related to different fashion gurus and made an impact to his career

This just goes to show that the field of journalism and communication doesn't have limited opportunities this is being manifested by the success and triumph of an ordinary Filipino man Bryan Boy before. you can never go wrong with what your heart wants you to do, of something you are passionate to do. so for the aspiring journalists and bloggers let's break the stereotyping that our field has limited doors.
